Sometimes You Just Need A Damn Break

You ever feel like you are beating your head against the wall over the same issue day after day? Yeah I am sure you have been there done that and let me tell you I feel your pain and it might be one of the most frustrating things to deal with.

We get so narrow minded about the issue that we tend to keep trying it over and over again, hoping that it will work. Or sometimes we make excuses that it isn't our fault and we dont know how to fix it. Really what we need to do is sit there for a few seconds and think of another way to approach it.

If you have tried everything maybe it is time to seek someone else's opinion that you value to see if they can help you solve it from the outside looking in. For me that is my first reaction is asking someone if I can't come up with a solution. To see if they can let me know if I am causing myself this frustration or if I need to think of another way to approach it.

But then there are those days that you need to just take a couple days away from whatever issue you are trying to fix and take your mind away from it and come back to it with a new strategy. And let me tell you lately I have been running into this a lot in my horse training with my filly, I can't get her to a movement to the right like I can to the left so I decided not to work on it for a week.

Well here we are a week later and well I have some ideas on how to go about solving this issue, rather than getting frustrated I am trying other ways. Maybe they won't work who knows but It is better than creating a stressful situation for yourself where you feel like you aren't gaining any success.

Take a second and breathe. Take a break. Ask for someones help. Rethink the issue
